Comments: The Mentalist was founded and edited by Don Tanner. It ran from October 1962 to November 1963, which was supposed to be the last issue. However, according to Genii's Magicpedia, Jack Dean took over as editor in 1963 and continued publication until September 1965. The book detailed here is issues 1-12 as edited by Don Tanner. AB StageCraft also produced The Complete The Mentalist, which included Issues 1-33 and the incomplete issue 34.
